Things you should know and have


Before I state any prices or contact info I would like to take a moment to let you the client know what you should have on your end:

  • Have a proper description of what you want. (Write out a paragraph or two detailing what you want from me. Try to limit it to 1-3 paragraphs. Being concise is best.)
  • Provide me with reference images (The character to be drawn and possibly poses you may want to see them in to give me an idea of what to shoot for.)
  • Have a good email to be contacted by and send payment from (I do business through PayPal.)

Contact and Processing Your Image


  • If you’re requesting a commission please send an email to me at blackfire_studios@yahoo.com.
  • In the subject put: COMMISSION!
  • Provide a 1-3 paragraph description of the request
  • DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY UNTIL AFTER I HAVE RESPONDED AND ACCEPTED YOUR REQUEST!!
  • After receiving payment (for sketch commissions I must receive payment in full before starting) after receiving initial payment I will send several thumbnails displaying the concepts for the image. Tell me which one to aim for and I will get started on your image.
  • When work is finished I must receive final payment (if applicable) before review copy’s, which are low resolution watermarked copies, will be released to the client.
  • After you approve of the review copy or ask for edits. I will send them off or start revising the image.

Prices and Info:


  • All images are A3 (3508 pixels x 4961 size by default ,( client can negotiate other sizes it is best to do this before work is started
  • Upon completion of the work you will receive a hi-resolution JPEG, and PNG
  • PSDs will typically not be released (although if necessary they can be released for a fee.)

Revisions:


  • There are a limited number of simple revisions I am willing to do. (i.e. color changes and slight anatomy fixes.) After 2 revisions I will charge a revision fee which will depend on what is being asked of me.
  • I will not redo entire work of art once work has been completed.
